Triathlon Training Day 36 – CurtisM Controls the Workout

Plan7 was really fun today because instead of just riding the same as always I spent a little time pushing my limits. My original FTP is 178. Today I decided that needed to be a little higher so I pushed the “+” button on my control pad while we were cycling and kept upping my FTP until I was 241. Right about this timePlan7 popped up a message that read (for the first time), “CurtisM controls the Workout”. Wow, who knew.  Almost 70 points higher and it felt good. It felt really good. Everyone at Elevate keeps asking me “What’s Your Win?” Today my win was staying in the green. I did it the entire 90 minutes. I was at least where the workout said to be if not higher. See image above.

The workout was hard but what cracked me up about today was the so called “Recovery”. Check out the image below

Yes it did say Recover @ 100 RPMs. I’m not sure 100 RPMs and recover fit naturally in the same sentence. Today was a great workout though and I feel like I am progressing well on the bike.
